Obama pays to have channel on Dish Network

Yesterday I was channel surfing on Dish Network, and I ran across channel 73 called Obama. This channel was dedicated 24/7 to Obama. Everything you wanted to know about Obama but were afraid to ask (because it will ruin the economy and our standing in the world) is on this channel.

This enfuriated me, so I sent off a letter to Dish Network threatening to go to their competitor if they did not remove this channel. This is the letter I received back.

Dear DISH Network Customer

Thank you for your e-mail. We appreciate your comments and concerns regarding the Obama Channel; please understand that the Obama Channel (CH 73) is paid advertising by the Obama campaign and is not an endorsement of Senator Obama by DISH Network, and that the programming offered by DISH Network does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the corporation.

This space has been purchased similar to any other channel we broadcast, and any other candidate who wishes to purchase a channel through DISH Network will be given the same opportunity. At this time, no other candidates have showed interest in purchasing a channel.

Your business is greatly appreciated and we thank you for allowing us to be of assistance to you. If you have any further questions or concerns, please refer to www.dishnetwork.com or reply to this email.

Sincerely,

Obama is now purchasing television stations, and of course he has every right to do so. And now that I see he paid for the channel, I think it was smart on the part of the Obama campaign so now I say McCain where is your channel?
